Our Staff

We employ staff with a wide range of skills and experience. All hold nationally recognised qualifications, and receive additional orientation before working at your event. We run a programme of ongoing training and professional development to ensure that skills are kept up to date. We work to the latest nationally recognised treatment protocols, to ensure the best care for our patients.
First Aiders - all possess an HSE First Aid certificate as a minimum, and many have further skills such as oxygen administration.

  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - the backbone of event medical cover; all have more advanced resuscitation skills, and have a wider range of treatment options available to them. This is the lowest grade of staff we routinely provide to work on their own.
  • Paramedics - all our paramedics hold state registration. They possess the full range of advanced skills and equipment needed to manage the seriously ill or injured patient.
  • Nurses - many patients at events can be dealt with on-site by an appropriate nurse, removing the need for a hospital visit. Skills available include wound closure, definitive minor injury management and a wide range of medication for minor illnesses.
  • Doctors - our doctors come from a range of acute specialities, and all have recent A&E experience. They have access to a full range of treatment equipment, effectively bringing the hospital to the patient.

We also have staff with other specialist skills to ensure the smooth running of our service, such as pharmacists, emergency dispatchers and psychiatric nurses.

As you would expect for the protection of your visitors, all our staff are subject to clearance through the Criminal Records Bureau at enhanced level.

Our staff have 24-hour telephone access to one of our medical directors for advice regarding specific patients if required.
